this has got to be the earliest time i'm home on a saturday night.

yesterday was chinese oral and audition for battle of the bands.
i was so freaking nervous during the chinese oral.
i think i did quite bad. lots of words that i didn't know how to read.
audition wasn't any better.
wah lau we only knew about it on wednesday, meaning we only had 2 days to prepare!
we couldn't meet so in the end we just played That thing you do, the second easiest song to jam in the world. One way's the easiest.
gosh, i really hope we get through.

anyway, some really stupid stuff happened today at church.
i was walking pass the place behind DL and charmaine asked me to help retrieve some banners.
they were leaving it to dry by the drain. so to get to the banners you would have to climb down.
so i was climbing over the railing, and i thought the LAMP POST was stable (since it's a lamp post -.-)
so i reached to it for support.
guess what.

THE FREAKING LAMP POST FELL.

it was the shock of my life i tell you.
in the end a few of us put the lamp post back up. LOL.

oh and i got a birthday cake!

thanks! really sweet of you two :)

although the cake wasn't very edible.
the crust was made of pure CARBON.
and there was HAIR IN THE CAKE.
oh and it was supposed to be OREO CHEESE CAKE. lol.
but it's okay! it's really the thought that counts :)
